Job Description
The Operations Specialist requires a mix of strategic thinking, operational expertise, and adaptability. The exact focus may evolve as the company grows, with the role often positioned as a key trusted advisor and operational subject matter expert. This role reports to the Founder & GM Leopard Solutions. This role is located in New York, on a hybrid schedule.
The salary range for this role is $75,000-$85,000, depending on level of experience.
- Tracking progress on strategic initiatives and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Acting as a liaison between the founder and other teams.
- Identifying and addressing bottlenecks in the execution of company projects.
- Streamlining day-to-day operations and ensuring efficiency.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams to align efforts with company objectives.
- Developing and implementing processes to support scaling and growth.
- Managing key company metrics, dashboards, and performance indicators.
- Overseeing and driving completion of high-priority projects.
- Managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables for various initiatives.
- Delegating tasks to appropriate teams or individuals.
- Acting as a communication bridge between the founder and stakeholders.
- Preparing internal updates, presentations, and reports for the founder.
- Leading or supporting internal meetings to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Building relationships with key partners, clients, or vendors.
- Prioritizing and managing the founder’s schedule to focus on high-impact work.
- Preparing briefing materials for meetings, events, or public appearances.
- Acting as a sounding board for decisions and strategy.
- Handling sensitive or confidential matters on behalf of the founder.
- Managing budgets, financial planning, and expense tracking.
- Overseeing legal, compliance, or regulatory obligations.
- Handling travel arrangements, office logistics, or event planning.
- Addressing urgent or unforeseen issues proactively.
- Offering analysis and recommendations for challenges facing the founder or business.
- Taking ownership of ambiguous or undefined responsibilities.
- Other projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in operations, project management, consulting, or a similar field.
- Proficiency in productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Experience analyzing data and familiarity with tools like Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) or operational software is nice to have.
- Prior experience in a startup or high-growth company is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with executives or founders.
- Strong alignment with the company’s values and mission.
- High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and commitment.
- A self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset.

- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, including report writing and presentations. Diplomacy and tact when engaging with diverse stakeholders, including executives, teams, and external partners. Ability to synthesize and convey complex information clearly.
- Adaptability & Resilience: Comfort in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Willingness to wear multiple hats and adapt to shifting priorities. High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
