We’re hiring a senior Family Law paralegal to assist our legal team in preparing legal documents, filing motions, conducting legal research, leading litigation preparation.   • Manage family law cases and clients from the start of the case to litigation or settlement.

  • Manage all aspects of the case, including drafting complaints, motions, discovery, trial preparation, and settlement phases.
  • Collaborate with a team of high-performing, dedicated professionals who strive for excellence and top-notch service.
  • Plan, calendar, track, and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Draft parenting plans, settlement agreements, DRFA, and child support worksheets.
  • Meet with clients to proactively manage case.
  • Lead uncomfortable conversations with clients to ensure that we receive discovery documents and evidence well in advance of the deadline.
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in Georgia family law.
  • Knowledge of GA Family law cases and statutes.
  • Law firm technology skills, including prior experience using Smokeball or a similar case management program.
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, and grammar skills.
  • Experience managing family law cases from start to finish.
  • Old-fashioned work ethic and reliability. Honest and trustworthy.
  • No prior criminal history. Able to pass a comprehensive background check.
  • Trainable, lifelong learner who values opportunities for learning and growth.
  • Excellent memory. Excellent note-taking skills.
  • Knowledge of discovery requirement and how to obtain evidence needed for the case from our client and the other side.
