PARALEGAL MANAGER


JOB DESCRIPTION: Singleton Schreiber, LLP is an experienced Senior Paralegal Manager to join our Environmental team. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the Firm's Environmental paralegal teams and delivering outstanding legal services.


This role can be based in our Denver, Colorado or San Diego, California office.


SALARY AND BENEFITS:


$100,000-$120,000 annually.


Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Provides leadership, mentorship and manages the Environmental teams consisting of paralegals, case assistants and administrative staff.

  • Monitors and assigns paralegal and case assistant support to specific matters while ensuring all deadlines are met.

  • Provide paralegal support to attorneys with all aspects of a case from pre-litigation to post-trial motions.

  • Perform legal research.

  • Assist with trial preparation.

  • Assist in court as needed.

  • Assists with coordinating training regarding paralegal skills and certification courses.




QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:



  • Candidates must possess a paralegal certificate or meet the Bus. & Prof. Code Β§ 6450 requirements.

  • 10 years of experience in civil litigation.

  • Experience with managing a team of 4 or more paralegals.

  • Experience with working up cases from pre-litigation to post-trial motions.

  • Experience in case management software programs, preferably FileVine.

  • Proficient in Adobe, Excel, Microsoft Office, and Outlook

  • Familiar with E-Discovery and law programs such as, Sharefile, PACER, CaseAnywhere, Lexis, Smart Advocate, Everlaw, FileVine, OneLegal, File & Serve Express, JAMS portal, Milana, VineSign, and others as needed.

  • A successful candidate will be detail oriented and organized, be a team player, be reliable, and capable of multitasking and managing several time-critical projects under tight deadlines.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
