WHO ARE WE:
Barasch & McGarry is proud to be the leading law firm for the 9/11 community, a law firm dedicated to helping those affected by 9/11. Although the Environmental Protection Agency assured the public that "the air is safe," those living, working, volunteering, and going to or attending school near the 9/11 exposure zone breathed toxic air containing jet fuel, glass, fibers, and construction materials, and a host of known carcinogens. Tens of thousands of people have since been diagnosed with cancers and other illnesses, and thousands have had their deaths linked to the toxins.

Barasch & McGarry has successfully represented more 9/11 victims than any other law firm in the country. Since September 11th, thousands of our clients — first responders, workers, students, residents, and volunteers — have received more than $3 billion in funds from the 9/11 Victim Compensation Fund. Additionally, we've helped thousands of 9/11 victims register for the free lifetime healthcare the World Trade Center Health Program provides. Barasch & McGarry is one of New York's most prominent firms concentrating on personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and firefighter rights.

Barasch & McGarry is an equal opportunity employer, where employment is based upon personal capabilities and qualifications, in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws. The Firm strictly prohibits and does not tolerate discrimination against team members, applicants, interns, or any other covered persons because of age, race, creed, color, religion, sex, including pregnancy, gender, actual or perceived gender identity or expression, transgender status, actual or perceived sexual orientation, national origin, alienage or citizenship status, marital status, familial status, caregiver status, military status, including past, current, or prospective service in the uniformed services, genetic information, victim of domestic violence status, sexual or reproductive health decision making, actual or perceived physical or mental disability or any other protected characteristic as established by law.
