Overview: Partner Expectations


Partners must be trustworthy and reliable by consistently delivering on all responsibilities. Partners are expected to uphold CMBG3’s Values and drive CMBG3’s Vision & Mission forward. Partners must have a proven track record of successful representation of clients on complex legal matters. Partners are expected to support leadership, adhere to firm policies, and be a positive contributor to firm morale. Partners should respectfully challenge status quo areas and respect and manage against improvements the firm implements. Partners should be respected among peers and contacts both internal and external. Partners are expected to mentor and educate others within the firm to support CMBG3’s growth mindset culture by sharing knowledge, experience, and opportunities. Partners are expected to consistently demonstrate a willingness to go above and beyond minimum job requirements.  


Role and Responsibilities


  • Provide clients with proactive world-class service and legal counsel. 
  • Generates revenue ethically by providing appropriate services, while seeking out opportunities to add further value to client’s legal needs through holistic and proactive legal counsel.
  • Maintain constant and meaningful in-person, video conferencing and written communication with clients. 
  • Maintain positive client relationships through exceptional communications and relationship building following the firm’s CRM and Supervising Attorney expectations.
  • Develop and maintain external relationships through various networking opportunities with other lawyers, experts, opposing counsel, clients, and potential clients.  
  • Enhance the firm’s reputation by setting an example regarding ethics, morals, legal standards and professionalism and modeling such behavior throughout the organization.
  • Daily focus on developing work for other attorneys and paralegals. 
  • Provides coaching, support and feedback on work product collaboratively with Associates and Sr. Counsel and paralegals through daily supervision and regular feedback on work product. 
  • Must meet annual billable requirements and adhere to the Attorney Timekeeping Policy
  • Be a brand ambassador by supporting firm marketing. 


Requirements
  • Minimum of 7+ Years of relevant legal experience to the firm’s core practice areas. 
  • Requires a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and admittance to a state bar and in good standing in all states. 
  • Partners are expected to exhibit requisite skills, experience, and expertise in CMBG3’s practice areas. 
  • Exceptional Professionalism and Leadership skills required.
  • 5 years of successful client management experience
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Excellent organization and interpersonal skills required.
  • The ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment
  • Problem solving and decision making a must
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
  • Able to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines is a must
  • Able to manage and delegate meaningful work to attorneys and paralegals. 
  • Legal & Ethics Compliance is required.
  • Filevine or Document Management experience preferred
  • Demonstrates personal awareness and desire for continued personal and professional development.
  • Adhere to all firm policies and procedures.
