The Performance Management Coordinator, reporting directly to the Director of Performance Management, will primarily be responsible for administering the performance review processes for all professionals.  This position can be based out of the Los Angeles or New York office. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the performance review system (viEval) including creating and maintaining review forms and surveys, generating reports, spotting and resolving software issues and managing administrative and process access across modules.
  • Serve as the Firm’s main contact for performance review process questions, and the primary person responsible for tracking process and completion of verbal and written reviews. Send reminders to meet deadlines for all review functions. 
  • Identify and track areas of process improvement and suggested resolution. Work with committees and others to evaluate and consider potential changes to processes, templates and forms.
  • Work with Accounting to import matters pertinent to the review period and identify and help resolve issues.
  • Maintain electronic binders and process documents in real-time for each review process and maintain up to date target deadlines.
  • Research and analyze historical data and organize it logically for presentation.
  • Maintain up to date professional lists throughout the review cycle, including tracking professional new hires, terminations, and leaves of absence.
  • Draft high-level communications to professionals
  • Maintain the Real Time Feedback Tool and send information collected to the appropriate parties.
  • Work closely with other departments and specific committees to identify agenda  and action items.
  • Provide back-up support for MCLE.
  • Assist with surveys as required including sourcing and compiling professional development data.
  • Provide administrative support to the Associate Leadership Committee.
  • Work on other initiatives and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Position requires a bachelor’s degree with at least two-plus years of experience in Performance Management, Professional Development, Training, Organizational Development or Human Resources.
  • At least one year of experience with a law firm or professional services organization is highly preferred.
  • Must be client service orientated, able to relate to people at all levels in the Firm, and comfortable holding people accountable for their respective program roles and responsibilities.
  • Handle sensitive matters with discretion, exhibit sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Convey confidence, demonstrate flexibility, perform effectively in a fast paced environment with competing priorities, manage personal biases, understand and clarify personal values and boundaries.
  • Demonstrate awareness of and respect for other’s needs, be responsive, manage conflicts, and establish and maintain relationships.
  • Model the highest standards, work efficiently within a team setting, adeptly transition between analytical and creative tasks, and maintain a proactive and positive attitude. Work independently after outcomes and standards are determined, manage changing priorities, and accomplish multiple detailed tasks simultaneously.
  • Possess excellent analytical and mathematical skills including the ability to compile, review, and determine logical conclusions based on data/information that is varied in content and format.
  • Able to Plan, implement, and evaluate projects and programs.
  • Exhibit finely developed written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and work proactively with precision and follow-up.
  • Have intermediate to advanced skills in Word, Excel, viDesktop (highly preferred), Adobe Pro.
  • Excellent proofreading skills and demonstrate strong attention to detail.

The base annual pay range for this role is between $67,000-$77,000. The base pay to be offered will vary and depend on skills and qualifications, experience, location and will also take into account internal equity. A full range of medical, financial and/or other benefits dependent on the position will also be offered.
