You will play a vital role as part of our legal team, providing comprehensive support to ensure the smooth progress of cases from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include facilitating communication between clients and legal professionals, as well as managing case files.

  • Organize and keep comprehensive case files that include legal documents, correspondence, and client communications.
  • Ensure timely actions are taken by monitoring case timelines and deadlines, particularly for personal injury litigation.
  • Regularly update and manage case management software or databases.
  • Act as the main contact for clients, keeping them updated on their case progress.
  • Respond to client inquiries and concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Gather necessary information and documentation from clients, such as updates on injuries and provider lists.
  • Facilitate communication among legal professionals, clients, and outside parties.
  • Ensure that information is shared promptly within the legal team and with your attorney.
  • Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
  • Collect all pertinent medical records and billing statements.
  • Request billing ledgers, review outstanding balances, and compile provider lists. Ensure billing is timely and that liens are established.
  • Assist in resolving contractual issues with Medicare, Medicaid, and similar entities.
  • Collaborate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and other legal staff.
  • Attend team meetings and case review sessions to provide status updates on cases.
  • Experience in Personal Injury Law especially in litigation.
  • Experience in the medical, and/or insurance industries is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Familiarity with various legal practice areas is a plus.
  • Good customer service skills.
  • General computer skills (working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Fluent English speaking a must, Spanish bi-lingual a plus.
