Seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our expanding Personal Injury law firm in Roswell, GA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of litigation paralegal experience.   • Prepare court-ready state and federal pleadings, motions, and responses to motions for e-filing with state and federal courts inΒ Georgia
  • Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a busy legal environment
  • Draft and respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production, requests for disclosure, requests for admission, deposition notices, etc.
  • Organize large volumes of case-related documents; ability to locate and reference specific documents quickly (e.g. trial exhibits, deposition transcripts, discovery responses, case correspondence, and communications)
  • Support assigned attorney( i.e. phone conferences, meetings, case deadlines, hearing and trial dates, mediations, and depositions, as well as scheduling orders and moving docket forward)
  • Document, organize, and assist with preparation for hearings, depositions, trials, and mediation
  • Save, file, and organize pleadings, motions, and related e-filed or emailed documentsΒ on a daily basis
  • Maintain a calendar with the ability to forecast and prioritize relevant deadlines

The following are representative of the knowledge, skill, or ability the candidate must possess or demonstrate to succeed under the direction of a litigation attorney:

  • Proven knowledge of electronic filing requirements at state and federal courts inΒ Georgia
  • Work proactively, independently, and as part of a team
  • Ability to forecast and calendar court filings and docket deadlines
  • Organize, prioritize, and implement urgent tasks with strong attention to detail
  • Provide excellent written and verbal communication
  • Remain self-directed, self-motivated, and effectively work under tight time constraints
  • Ability to consistently create and deliver quality work products
  • Demonstrate proficiency with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat Pro DCΒ 
  • Demonstrated efficiency in navigating the internet
  • Needles & GrowPath experience preferred (will train on the case management software)
