Legal Experience Requirements
- Prior law firm experience is preferred but not required.
Technical Requirements
- Technological proficiency in software including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat, especially the ability to create forms, spreadsheets, and other organizational tools. Experience with Chrome River a plus.
- Familiar with or has the ability to become proficient in various software programs and other technology, as well as processes required for timekeeping, billing, and document management systems.
- Experience with document management systems a plus
Administrative Requirements
- Receiving and scanning all mail
- Assist with opening and closing matters
- Calendaring dates for court, depositions, meetings, etc.
- Assistance with travel arrangements
- Assist attorneys with time entries as needed
- Assist with data entry projects
- Prepare check requests and other firm forms
- Assist secretaries and paralegals with clerical assignments as requested
