Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Pre-Litigation Case Manager to play a crucial role in our legal team. The Pre-Litigation Case Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing cases from the initial client intake through the pre-litigation process. This position requires a strong understanding of legal procedures, client communication, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services. 

? Manage a caseload of pre-litigation cases, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met. 

? Draft, review, and maintain legal documents, including demand letters, correspondence, and pleadings. 

? Work closely with attorneys to develop and implement case strategies. 

? Monitor case progress and update clients regularly on their cases.

? Coordinate with medical providers, investigators, and experts as needed. 

? Conduct legal research to support case preparation and strategy. 

? Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations relevant to the cases. 

? Engage in negotiation with opposing parties or insurance companies to seek fair settlements for clients. 

? Collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals to ensure the intake process aligns with legal requirements and strategies for each client's case. Communicate important client information and updates to the legal team.

Schedule client meetings, depositions and hearings.  


Position is for in-office work at either our Reno, NV or Las Vegas, NV location.

Requirements

  Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 

? Excellent customer service and ability to show empathy.

? Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.

? Strong knowledge of legal procedures, legal terminology, and relevant laws. 

? Proficiency in basic computer knowledge and usage

? Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

? Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

? High school diploma or equivalent (customer service experience preferred).  3-4  years’ experience (required)  

  

Physical Requirements: 

? Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. 

? Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards

? Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
