Legal Services of North Florida has
an openings for an Pro Bono Project Manager Attorney to address the legal needs of veteran clients. Come work with
great people who do hard work to better the lives of low-income and vulnerable
individuals in our communities. LSNF handles more than 9,700 cases a year and
does not charge their clients for their legal services. Be a part of a
non-profit law firm, with 110+ employees in seven offices across North Florida,
that seeks legal justice while understanding the value of work-life balance. Work independently and as part of a team to obtain positive results
for pro bono clients with a focus on project to transform the pro bono civil legal delivery services. This position can be located in either the Tallahassee, Quincy, Panama City, Ft. Walton Beach, or Pensacola offices.
The Pro Bono Project Manager Attorney will report directly to the Director of Pro Bono and Volunteer Engagement and will work along side the pro bono
team, paralegals, and delivery support staff to ensure grant
deliverables are met while securing positive outcomes for clients. The Pro Bono Project Manager Attorney promotes pro bono activates to the private bar through
professional and community outreach. The Project Manager Attorney will
also support pro bono services by engaging in direct representation and
brief service.
Attorneys at LSNF have the ability
to work collaboratively with superior legal professionals in civil litigation
and administrative law to strategize and advocate on behalf of clients and seek
justice. LSNF legal staff also engage in significant litigation including large-scale impact work and appellate work. To fulfill the mission to remove barriers
to legal access, LSNF carries out community education and outreach with
two Justice on the Block mobile response units where
individuals can speak to an attorney, apply for our services, or have
assistance filing pro se documents.
Applicants should be a member of The
Florida Bar in good standing, with preference given to candidates with public
interest or legal aid experience and a strong history of pro bono activity. Candidates must have a minimum of five years of attorney experience plus previous supervisory experience. Candidates must have strong organizational
and communication skills, be comfortable interacting with clients as well as legal colleagues, and have a
desire to advocate. All staff must successfully pass a level II background screening.
Salary offers depend on experience. Candidates with ten years
of attorney experience can expect a salary range of $83,800 or higher. Candidates with twenty years of attorney experience can expect a salary range of $103,900 or higher.
