Description

Klik Solutions, an Inc 5000 Managed services provider in Baltimore, Maryland, is currently seeking talented individuals for a Staff augmentation project at one of our existing clients in Β Annapolis, Maryland. All work will be performed at the client's location and under the direction of the client's resources.


As part of an HCM and Finance Workday implementation:

  • Work with developers to define the testing of Workday implementation in-sprint tickets. Provide early feedback, identify potential issues, and contribute to the configuration of testable and maintainable code.
  • Working with application requirements, writing use cases, test plans, manual and automated tests, and deploying those tests as part of the build.
  • Write regression test scripts (preferably automated).
  • Monitor deployments. Work closely with the BA/ERP Team to collect this data and how the application works.
  • Work closely with the Workday configuration team (Solutions Architect and Consultants) and MGA ERP Team, and business stakeholders. Be a steward for quality in the product from the beginning.
  • Create automated API tests to ensure the quality of contracts between interfaces for all our Digital Web UI Products
  • Contribute new ideas to improve software practices and processes.
  • Ensure that Azure DevOps is updated with appropriate information during the testing process.
  • Working with Workday Performance Engineers to improve and optimize deployments, working towards a high-performing application.
  • Execute test plans and test cases based on application requirements and technical specifications; Conduct manual testing and use automated testing tools to identify and report issues.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure previously identified and resolved defects do not reoccur.
  • Carefully document test results and create detailed bug reports.

The experience they will bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology with 5+ years of hands-on Workday experience.
  • Strong understanding of abstraction and ability to scale testing frameworks to cover base use cases with the ability to customize for brand-specific properties.
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms and security best practices.
  • Proven experience as a QA Engineer, QA Tester, or similar role in software development
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality software products
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
