Overview

The Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) Data Entry Specialist supports the Programs team in refugee resettlement and post-resettlement case management by performing critical data entry and record keeping functions for the Refugee Cash Assistance (RCA) program. The position will be responsible for data entry, data tracking, and file up-keeping.

Responsibilities

  • Mail out Refugee Cash Assistance checks
  • Maintain filing system and file Refugee Cash Assistance check back-ups
  • Update check tracker and log all Refugee Cash Assistance checks
  • Contact new incoming clients logged in Salesforce
  • Make appointments for new clients
  • Close client cases in the CRM system
  • Attend regularly scheduled meetings and periodic training sessions
  • Assist with covering the front desk alongside the Office Administrator as needed
  • Perform all other duties assigned by supervisor

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Strong Excel skills required.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and effective communicator.
  • Ability to prioritize duties in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Experience

  • BachelorοΏ½s or Associates Degree in Human Services, Counseling, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience in data entry and administration.
  • Experience working with immigrant populations preferred.
  • Candidate must have dedication to the human rights of refugees, immigrants, and asylees.

Work Environment Conditions

  • Frequent interruptions from employees and clients.
  • Required office work including exposure to bright, office lighting.
  • Candidate must sit at the front desk
  • Should cover reception if necessary

Physical Demands

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds on occasion.
  • Occasional bending, reaching overhead, and reaching at or below shoulder level required.

Covid-19 Policy

IINE does not require applicants for most positions to show proof of Covid-19. Some federal contracts, however, require IINE staff to show proof of Covid-19 vaccination, and some immigration status adjustments, such as a Green Card, require proof of Covid-19 vaccination as well. Consequently, for some positions, IINE staff may be required to show proof of vaccination, and in others, IINE staff will be supporting clients who are required by law to have proof of vaccination in order to adjust their status in the United States.
