This position may be filled remotely, or in any of our locations.


The Reporting & Dashboard Analyst will create and maintain reports and dashboards that measure the performance of the firm and its business and administrative areas.  The focus of this position is on internal clients, including, but not limited to: the Chief Executive, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Officer.  Provide consultation, requirements definition, project management creation of reports and dashboards using industry standard tools and methods. Essential job functions include:



  • Become highly familiar with necessary datasets.

  • Design and implementation of Power-BI dashboards.

  • Design reports using SSRS.

  • Plan, develop, and deliver reports in response to leadership requests.

  • Prepare viewable summaries of data (excel reports or other outputs/visualizations) for consumption by non-technical stakeholders throughout the firm.

  • Deploy statistical models in analyzing data.

  • Create standard development procedures to ensure consistency.

  • Partner with IT, executive suite and other stakeholders to deploy skills and capabilities toward supporting data driven decision making.

  • Collaborate with other Reporting Analysts to develop and improve the firm’s reporting system and overall capability.

  • Analyze and validate data to provide assurance of accuracy and validity of critical business information.

  • Document reports and implement business intelligent framework to accelerate future report building.

  • Maintain accurate knowledge of intra-company systems to assist legal and operations teams in accessing information


 


Position Requirements



  • 4-year degree with major coursework in related field; or combination of education and commensurate work experience required.

  • MS SQL Server skills required.

  • PowerBI skills required.

  • Experience with data warehouses.

  • Working knowledge of accounting and finance.

  • High-level of knowledge of data visualization.

  • Ability to effectively communicate desired outcomes.

  • General understanding of law firms, legal teams and processes used by both would be a plus.

  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to deal effectively with a variety of individuals at all organizational levels.

  • Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.

  • Creative, flexible, and innovative team player.

  • Ability to work well with minimal supervision.

  • Sensitivity to confidential information.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and goals


Additional Desired Technical Skills



  • Experience with Azure & AWS.

  • Experience with cloud services.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS


Employees are entitled to compensation commensurate with skill and experience. The exact compensation will vary based on skills, experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. The expected compensation ranges for this position in various states and jurisdictions are as follows:  



  • State of California: $94,000 - $180,000

  • State of Colorado: $87,000 - $155,000

  • Jersey City, NJ: $102,000 - $186,000

  • State of Maryland: $91,000 - $138,000

  • State of Massachusetts: $94,000 - $180,000

  • State of New York: $88,000 - $190,000

  • State of Washington: $91,000 - $173,000

  • Washington, D.C.: $122,000 - $179,000


The above salaries do not include a discretionary bonus, however bonus opportunities are non-guaranteed, and are dependent upon individual and firm performance.
