JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, install, and maintain AV systems across corporate conference rooms, event spaces, and executive offices.
• Configure, support, and troubleshoot Cisco-based AV solutions, including codecs, touch panels, and peripherals.
• Integrate and optimize Cisco AV Equipment and Zoom Rooms within the corporate AV ecosystem.
• Manage and troubleshoot AV network infrastructure, including VLANs, QoS, and AV-over-IP technologies.
• Collaborate with Office Managers and technical support teams to understand their AV requirements and ensure interoperability between AV systems and enterprise network/security policies.
• Provide technical guidance and training to end-users and other AV staff.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including system diagrams, user guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Stay updated with emerging AV technologies, industry standards, and best practices.
• Support live events, town halls, and executive meetings, ensuring optimal AV performance.
• Work with vendors and service providers for system upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Investigate and develop automated procedures to eliminate manual processes
• Provide technical support and work with various IT teams to resolve issues
• Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise AV engineering.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills required.
• Expertise in Cisco AV solutions, including Webex Room Kits, Cisco TelePresence, and associated peripherals.
• Strong understanding in Logitech hardware solutions desirable.
• Strong experience with Cisco WebEx, Microsoft Teams, Logitech, Crestron, and Zoom Rooms deployment and management.
• Proficiency in AV-over-IP technologies and network configurations related to AV systems.
• Experience with AV control systems (e.g., WebEx Control Hub, Crestron, etc.) is a plus.
• Knowledge of video conferencing protocols (SIP, H.323, WebRTC) and AV signal flow.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex AV issues quickly.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• A strong ability to interface with all levels of management, both in Information Technology and business personnel when required.
• Ability to manage vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
• Strong understanding of network topologies.
PREFERRED
• Experience with other Video and/or voice platforms. Experience with other video technologies such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, AirPlay and other related areas are a plus.
• Previous law firm experience
Salary Information
NY Only: The estimated base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000 at the time of posting.
The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is exempt meaning it is not overtime pay eligible.
