Speaks Law Firm is seeking a NC-licensed Litigation Attorney with personal injury trial experience to join our legal team and handle auto liability, premises liability, and commercial claims. This is a full-time salary exempt position. Annual base salary plus commission is depending on experience.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Supervisory responsibilities overseeing associate attorneys and paralegals
- Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining a proper course of action
- Prepare appropriate legal documents for clients, such as briefs, motions, and pleadings, and other correspondence
- Perform research, draft briefs, pleadings, and motions
- Argue motions in court on behalf of clients during legal proceedings
- Determine case strategies and solutions to serve client's needs after analysis
- Work closely with leadership and other staff as an individual contributor to the overall success of the litigation department
- Evaluate processes within the litigation department and help streamline processes
- Conduct weekly and biweekly meetings including 1:1’s with direct reports and case management meetings
- Participate in marketing functions such as podcasts, blogs, and ads
- Seven (7) or more years of personal injury trial experience required
- Must be an active member of the NC bar association, active member of SC bar association a plus
- Experience with case management software and documentation, specifically Needles Neos a plus
- Proficiency in writing, research, and negotiation
- Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required
- Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required
- Passion for advocating for our clients and maintaining a positive attitude required
