Summary

The Sr. Manager, Change Management (Technology) role will lead the  change management strategy for all new technology initiatives at Sidley. In partnership with IT business professionals and leaders, this role will assess organizational needs to develop strategies and deploy changes to business processes, systems, and technologies that minimize end user disruption and maximize adoption. In addition, the person will be responsible for drafting and distributing communications, along with designing training plans to achieve organizational success through the delivery of change management projects.  

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and execute change management strategies for the IT organization, including developing and delivering communications, conducting training, and managing user services and support
  • Manage all components of change management timelines, including monitoring and reporting status changes, highlighting key milestones, and resolve issues to produce outlined deliverables
  • Establish foundational knowledge of the IT organization’s operating model and objectives to create initiatives designed to ensure the end user impact of change events are appropriately identified
  • Define change management metrics and then use the data to develop insights and drive proposed strategies
  • Develop communication plans that are delivered timely, and include critical messaging/definitions to ensure smooth integration for the end user
  • Design and deliver effective training programs to support stakeholders and end users ahead of change management deployments
  • Identify potential business process improvement opportunities and incorporate into work plan strategies
  • Maintain an understanding of the latest technology trends (e.g., Cybersecurity, Generative AI, automation)
  • Provide cross-functional support between various stakeholder groups to keep broader project teams informed and aligned on approaches

Salaries vary by location and are based on numerous factors, including, but not limited to, the relevant market, skills, experience, and education of the selected candidate. Target Salary Range

$121,900 - $160,000 if located in Illinois

Education and/or Experience: 

Required:

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, change management or related field
  • Demonstrated success leading significant process improvement and change initiatives at the group and organization levels, including facilitating stakeholder groups through problem identification, solution development and decision making
  • Strategic and creative problem-solving skills, including demonstrated ability to develop efficient systems and metrics and to enhance decision-making processes
  • Analytical experience, including past experience collecting, analyzing, synthesizing and presenting data to in a compelling way to inform decision making
  • Outstanding collaboration and influencing skills, including excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Executive presentation experience

Preferred:

  • Master’s degree
  • Project Management certification
  • Experience in professional services environment
  • Strategic planning experience
  • Familiarity with employee engagement principles and best practices
