We are seeking an experienced litigation personal injury attorney to efficiently manage our growing caseload and help grow our team. Our firm emphasizes the importance of bringing a personal touch to Personal Injury Law, ensuring clients receive the individualized attention and care they deserve.

Located in Carrollton, Texas, our firm specializes exclusively in plaintiff personal injury law, with a primary focus on car accidents, and some premises defects, slip and fall, and dog bite cases.

Establishing strong connections with clients is a priority for us, leading to their loyalty and referrals for new cases. The perfect candidate will be interested in not only taking charge of a smaller docket of plaintiff injury cases, handling both litigation and pre-litigation with the support of skilled Paralegals and Legal Assistants, but also help manage other lawyers and their production. You will have the opportunity to create and execute litigation strategies on behalf of clients and handle all aspects of trial work.


Competitive base salary range from $180,000 to $230,000, depending on experience, plus quarterly performance bonuses, 401K matching, and benefits.

  • Formulate strategies for legal action and negotiations.
  • Manage a team of 3 with a caseload of 60 to 80 cases, including mostly pre-litigation and some litigation.
  • Review and revise pre-litigation demand letters, along with litigation pleadings, discovery, and responses.
  • Handle depositions, mediations, motions, and trial work.
  • Takes ownership of the files and moves them through the process thoroughly and quickly.
  • Support our clients, letting them know we care about them as people, as well as their case.
  • Supervising the work of other lawyers in the firm to ensure the success of the entire team as we grow, with monthly reports to the Owner and COO.

Well qualified candidates are experienced attorneys with deep and broad expertise in all aspects of personal injury law.

  • 7+ years of litigation experience in personal injury law as follows: Have taken and defended at least 50 depositions; Have conducted at least 25 mediations, first chair; have extensive prior trial experience to jury verdict, some first and some second chair.
  • Leadership, experienced in mentoring other attorneys including motivating and guiding staff, with professionalism, that encourages excellent team outcomes.
  • Understand the importance of a great Stowers demand and have drafted at least 30 of them.
  • Outstanding communication, research, and writing skills, including experience in drafting various forms of demand brochures, motions, and pleadings.
  • Excellent negotiation and mediation skills.
  • Takes ownership of files and moves them forward toward settlement or trial, without cutting corners on the client's case, all while maintaining meticulous focus on all details.
  • Committed to and exhibiting excellent customer service with clients and firm staff.
  • Experience with how to use Neos case management software is a plus.
  • JD Degree with license to practice in Texas
