Procurement Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to oversee and optimize the company’s global supply of products and services, with a focus on the semiconductor manufacturing supply chain. This role involves strategizing and streamlining procurement processes to ensure cost-effective and reliable sourcing of materials critical to semiconductor production.

Key responsibilities include leading the procurement team to develop innovative solutions, driving cost reduction initiatives across the global supply chain, and ensuring the seamless flow of essential components. By enhancing efficiency and managing costs effectively, this role will help position the company to invest in its growth, innovation, and people.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies tailored to semiconductor manufacturing, ensuring the availability of critical materials and components.

· Identify and establish partnerships with reliable and innovative suppliers specializing in semiconductor supply chains.

· Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers to secure cost-effective and timely delivery of essential goods and services.

· Oversee and approve the procurement of materials, tools, and equipment critical to semiconductor manufacturing processes.

· Finalize and manage purchase agreements, ensuring alignment with production timelines and quality standards.

· Review and optimize existing supplier contracts to drive performance and ensure compliance with industry-specific requirements.

· Monitor and analyze procurement metrics to reduce costs, mitigate risks, and enhance supply chain efficiency.

· Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure clear communication of specifications and project requirements.

· Anticipate shifts in supplier market dynamics and prepare strategies to maintain competitive negotiating leverage.

· Analyze data to identify potential disruptions in the supply chain and develop proactive contingency plans.

· Manage risks associated with supply contracts and agreements, ensuring the continuity of semiconductor production.

· Implement cost-control measures and foster a culture focused on sustainable and long-term procurement savings.

Requirements

SKILLS and EDUCATION

  • Proven working experience as a procurement manager, procurement officer or head of procurement.
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market.
  • Talent in negotiations and networking.
  • Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software.
  • Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.
  • BS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration.
