This is a full-time salary exempt position. Annual base salary plus commission depends on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop associate attorneys and paralegals in litigation department
- Analyze evidence including medical records and investigative findings, interview clients and witnesses, consult field experts, and research statutes and case law
- Prepare legal documents such as briefs, motions, pleadings, and other correspondence
- Collaborate with Senior Leadership to determine case strategies and solutions to serve client's needs after thorough analysis and review of plaintiff and defense positions
- Resolve cases to achieve the best possible outcome for the client through mediation, arbitration, and trial
- Evaluate processes within the litigation department and streamline processes
- Participate in weekly and biweekly meetings including 1:1’s with direct reports
- Participate in marketing initiatives such as podcasts, blogs, and ad campaigns
- Active member of NC Bar Association required
- Active member of SC Bar Association a plus
- Seven (7) or more years of experience in personal injury litigation required
- Proficiency in writing, research, negotiation, and public speaking required
- Must have authentic and persuasive communication and oratory skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills required
- Experience with Needles Neos Case Management Software a plus
- Passion for advocating for our clients and maintaining a positive attitude required
Compensation
