The SharePoint & Power Platform Specialist will be an integral part of the Application Services team, focusing on the administration, development and customization of SharePoint solutions and Power Platform applications. This role reports into the Sr. Product Manager and will work closely with other team members within IT Department to fulfil their responsibilities. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and implementation of SharePoint solutions, including custom web parts, forms, lists, libraries, and workflows

  • Develop and customize Power Platform applications, including Power Apps and Power Automate (Flow)

  • Customize SharePoint sites, pages, web parts and lists to meet business requirements.

  • Develop custom applications, forms, workflows, and reports using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents

  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with existing systems and data sources, such as SharePoint, SQL databases, Data verse, and external APIs

  • Create custom SharePoint and Power Pages, extend Power Apps functionality with Dataverse integration

  • Develop and deliver training sessions to empower users in leveraging SharePoint functionalities

  • Manage user permissions, access controls, and security settings across SharePoint 2019/Online sites

  • Regularly review and audit permissions to maintain data integrity

  • Oversee content lifecycle management, including document libraries, lists, and metadata.

  • Implement and enforce content management best practices

  • Monitor system performance, health, and usage statistics

  • Generate and analyze reports to identify trends and areas for improvement

  • Provide critical thinking and problem solving with attention to detail, producing high quality work

  • Work autonomously to gather and evaluate business requirements

  • Assist in configuring SharePoint and Power platform features, settings, and security

  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of SharePoint and Power Platform solutions with existing systems

  • Participate in cross-functional projects and contribute to development efforts

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for SharePoint and Power Platform solutions

  • Employ firm IT best practices for application lifecycle management from conception to retirement

  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for SharePoint and Power Platform applications, addressing user issues, performing system updates, and implementing enhancements as required

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution design documents, user guides, and training materials

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Power platform and provide recommendations for new features and functionality

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, preferred field of study in computer science, information systems or other related field

  • 5+ years SharePoint development and power automation experience

  • Tech Stack requirements include but not limited to; SharePoint, JSON, C#, .NET Framework. ASP.NET, SQL Server, Rest API, Graph API, Teams API, SPFX, TypeScript, React, Node Js, JSON, HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSOM and JSOM

  • Experience with source code management systems like GIT, ADO, CI\CD pipeline

Skills and Experience

  • Exposure to SharePoint Framework (SPFx) and API.

  • Hands on understanding of Power Apps and Power Automate.

  • Hands on knowledge of Canvas app framework including customization with data connections.

  • Experience integrating Power Automate with variety of data sources and leveraging connectors.

  • User centered design practices and accessibility requirements.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and integrations.

  • Exceptional experience with PowerShell scripting.

  • Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, and ability to interact effectively with all levels of firm personnel.

  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality solutions

NY only: The estimated base salary range for this position is $130k to $150k at the time of posting.

The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is exempt meaning it is not overtime pay eligible.
