Job Description
We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of video editing techniques and a passion for storytelling through visuals. As a Social Media Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in developing and producing high-quality video content that is trendy and drives engagement and helps us achieve our marketing goals.
Responsibilities:

Strategize and map out video campaigns for new content and update best content.

Edit and produce engaging video content for various social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn)

Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and storyboards for videos

Ensure video content adheres to brand guidelines and messaging including thumbnails, titles and descriptions.

Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in social media video editing and understand analytics.

Manage video editing software and equipment.

Assist with virtual video shoots and production, as needed.
Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Social Media Video Editor or similar role

Strong proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro)

Creative and innovative mindset

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent grammar/writing skills for titles and copy in English

Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines

Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences and best practices.

Portfolio of previous video editing work must be shared.
