Are you ready to join a dynamic small law firm in Woodstock, GA that specializes in offering comprehensive legal services to a diverse clientele? Our firm relies on Apple products to create a seamless, efficient, and secure environment for our legal professionals. We are currently looking for a skilled System Administrator to be a part of our team and oversee our IT infrastructure.


As the System Administrator, your main responsibilities will include managing and supporting our IT infrastructure, which is primarily made up of Apple hardware and software. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation, security, and optimization of our systems. Providing technical support to our staff and implementing new technologies to boost productivity and data security will also be part of your duties.



  • Manage and upkeep Apple devices such as MacBooks, iMacs, iPads, and iPhones along with their associated software.

  • Perform routine system updates, backups, and security audits.

  • Resolve hardware and software issues through troubleshooting.

  • Ensure the reliability and security of the network infrastructure.

  • Offer technical assistance to staff both in person and remotely.

  • Aid in setting up new devices and guiding new employees during onboarding.

  • Conduct training sessions to improve staff proficiency in IT systems and applications.

  • Implement and sustain cybersecurity measures like firewalls, antivirus software, and data encryption.

  • Guarantee compliance with data protection and privacy laws and regulations.

  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches promptly.

  • Evaluate existing systems and suggest enhancements for improved efficiency and performance.

  • Research and deploy new technologies to boost the firm’s IT capabilities.

  • Manage and optimize cloud services and storage solutions effectively.

  • Maintain thorough documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.

  • Generate detailed reports on system performance, usage statistics, and security incidents.

  • Communicate efficiently with management regarding IT-related issues.

  • Proven experience as a System Administrator, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Proficiency with Apple products and operating systems (macOS, iOS).
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, security, and management.
  • Experience with cloud services, particularly those commonly used in legal practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • A customer service mindset that seeks to help and educate the team.
  • Familiarity with legal software applications and practice management systems is a plus.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.


Certifications:

  • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or similar certification is desirable.
