Rhoades McKee is seeking a technology administrator to join our team. This person's primary initial responsibilities will be to assist our attorneys and administrative staff with information technology services and to work with our outside service providers.


Responsibilities include:



  • Provide onsite and or remote technical support to attorneys and staff, addressing hardware, software, and network issues.

  • Work directly with product owners, internal stakeholders, and vendors to troubleshoot and deploy new system configurations, software, and or updates to existing software and services to ensure application reliability and security best practices.

  • Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of problems.

  • Strong knowledge of Tier 1 & 2 IT technologies and support processes.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Install, configure, and maintain client systems, including desktops, laptops, routers, firewalls, and other networking equipment.

  • Manage and monitor our network to ensure security, performance, and availability.

  • Lead implementation of new technologies and solutions.

  • Support the new hire orientation processes through technology training.

  • Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional service and support.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:



  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a related field.

  • Experience working with a managed service provider (Citrix specific experience is a plus) - knowledge of remote monitoring tools, ticketing systems, etc.

  • Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.

  • Ability to work independently, be a team player, and strong individual contributor.

  • Experience providing comprehensive group software training.

  • Experience with network administration and troubleshooting (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls).

  • Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365,).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, work with sensitive information, and always adhere to ethical standards.


Physical Requirements:



  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds at times.
