Summary






The Global Treasury Senior Manager is responsible for monitoring and managing the Firm’s global cash operations, including disbursement policies, procedures and internal controls.  The Treasury Senior Manager will work with counterparts throughout the organization to ensure uniform implementation and execution of cash management policies and procedures.  The Treasury Senior Manager will be responsible for bank account management and maintaining the Firm’s banking relationships and financial risk management. 









Duties and Responsibilities






  • Lead the management of the Treasury/Cash Management function including daily funding and investment activities  
  • Continuously evaluate opportunities for improvement and work with Firm leaders to implement solutions – includes the evolution of processes and controls as economic, geo-political and technology changes evolve
  • Responsible for the development of treasury staff, including review of work, training and coaching as well as ensuring global teams are fully informed and able to perform essential duties
  • Ensure firm-wide cash operation processes, procedures, and controls are documented and communicated –monitors operations and internal controls in all locations and ensure they are adequate and working effectively – critical focus on ensuring individuals are trained and aware of risk management and fraud detection responsibilities and procedures
  • Serve as the cross-functional liaison around managing the Firm’s relationships with financial institutions, including those relationships with other functions of the Firm including non-US finance leaders
  • Oversee credit facility management and reporting – facilitate any use of the credit facility including issuing / maintaining letters of credits and maintenance of bank documentation
  • Understand global trust account rules and ensure the appropriate processes and procedures surrounding those accounts are followed
  • Assess and scrutinize significant transactions prior to disbursement
  • Prepare and monitor firm-wide cash flows and regularly monitor exchange rates – to make recommendations for investing as needed and execute on foreign currency needs for offices around the globe
  • Research and maintain a current level of understanding of banking regulations and insurance requirements to ensure compliance
  • Assist accounting staff with any bank reconciliation and other accounting related issues that arise

Education and/or Experience: 

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy or Finance
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant treasury experience
  • Demonstrated technical and analytical skills within his/her professional background

Preferred:

  • CPA
  • Service industry experience
