Responsibilities of the Job

  • Draft estate plans, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, as well as other documents, with drafting software.
  • Draft beneficiary and other real estate transfer deeds.
  • Prepare binders for client signings and maintain electronic files of scanned documents and drafts.
  • Communicate with clients to book signing appointments or check on status of draft document review.
  • Edit draft documents for client changes and prepare documents for signing.
  • Attend estate plan document signing meetings.


Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of 3+ years of estate plan drafting experience and some pertinent educational background including an Associates or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional demeanor and positive communicator
  • Excellent typing skills and computer literacy, including a solid understanding Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel applications as well as estate plan drafting software experience (please specify the drafting programs with which you have experience on your application)
  • Demonstrate proficiency to focus on details, handle multiple tasks, and remain highly organized
  • Go above and beyond on simple requests to make things easier on others.
