Work Location:

This role is primarily remote, with regular on-site requirements for local WCAB (Workers' Compensation Appeals Board) hearings and client/team meetings at our Oakland or Concord office.

Core Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and advocate a complete caseload from inception to resolution

  • Foster excellent communication with both the team and clients

  • Lead your case management team in delivering exceptional customer service

  • Represent the firm at company and community events
    • Note: The above list is not exhaustive and the role may involve other responsibilities as needed.


Qualifications:



  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a California applicant or defense attorney, handling all aspects of workers' compensation cases, including depositions, hearings, trials, and appeals


  • Licensure: Active California State Bar membership


  • Transportation: Valid California driver's license and the willingness to travel, occasionally overnight, to various boards in Northern California

 

Additional Information:

This role involves extensive interaction with the public and requires adherence to a professional dress code and demeanor. Currently, client interactions are primarily conducted via phone and video meetings.
