Workers' Compensation Paralegal - Atlanta

MGC, a highly-respected, technology-driven law firm with 23 offices across the US and growing seeks an experienced Workers' Compensation Paralegal to support our Atlanta, GA office. Candidates should be professional, motivated, organized and possess exceptional oral and written communication skills. Candidates should also have a four-year degree and/or certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program, along with a minimum of 3-4 years of related work experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Organize files
• Review and summarize medical records 
• Prepare discovery responses
• Prepare various acknowledgement letters to client, insured and commission
• Log documents into case management software, docket specific deadlines and tasks for attorney(s)
• Scan and drop appropriate documents into ProLaw (pleadings, Commission filings, clocked forms, etc.)
• Coordinate IME’s and request medical records
• Prepare settlement documents
• General follow up
• Works as a member of a team
• Accepts change in a productive manner

Performs other duties as assigned.
