Overview: As an AI Automation Workflow Developer working with the latest generative AI technology, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about driving innovation in the legal technology space. You will have the opportunity to work with frontier language models, coding agents, and other AI and non-AI coding tools to deliver solutions that make a real difference at Litera.
The Opportunity: The Generative AI Innovation team is transforming the way Litera and its clients leverage their data for competitive advantage. As an AI Automation Workflow Developer on this team, you will use frontier language models, along with tools like Copilot Studio and PowerAutomate to design and develop AI agents that streamline and automate internal processes at Litera. You will function as a company automation evangelist, helping Litera to fully leverage the ever-expanding capabilities of agentic and automation tools. This is your chance to be a key member of a highly skilled and pioneering team with a market-leading company looking to leverage the newest development technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, design and implement agentic workflows and autonomous agents using no-, low-, and pro-code tools.
Work with non-engineering teams at Litera to leverage agent and automation technologies to help develop solutions that improve internal processes and efficiency throughout the company.
Communicate with other groups in the organization to evaluate the possibility of leveraging GenAI to address current process challenges and inefficiencies.
Research, evaluate, and document new automation and agentic technologies as they appear on the market.
Develop, deploy and promote new automation technologies throughout the company.
Identify new opportunities for leveraging agent and automation tools to improve Litera products and organizational processes.
Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams (PM, QA) to complete tasks.
Manage individual task priorities, estimates, deadlines, and deliverables.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Software Development: 2+ years with .NET/.NET Core, Web/REST APIs.
Automation Tools: Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and PowerAutomate.
Generative AI: Familiarity with frontier language models.
API Integration: Strong skills in working with API endpoints.
Low-Code/No-Code: Experience with rapid development platforms.
Education: Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Problem Solving & Communication: Strong analytical and communication skills.
Vision & Innovation: Ability to design innovative AI and automation solutions.
Collaboration: Proven teamwork in cross-functional settings.
Engineering: Experience with modern development tools such as VS Code / Copilot, Cursor, Devin AI and/or Replit.
Preferred skills/experience include:
Legal Industry Knowledge: Understanding of legal workflows.
Change Advocacy: A strong desire to build products and solutions that change the way our company works.
Agile Practices: Experience in Agile development environments.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Litera offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
