About the Role






The Associate Recruiting Manager is an integral part of Latham’s Associate Recruiting team and will be responsible for overseeing the associate recruitment process for their office(s), supporting the Recruiting Committee’s strategic initiatives, managing the summer program, maintaining law school relationships, analyzing market trends, and ensuring the professional development and effective management of the recruiting staff, while staying abreast of current and pending employment laws and market trends. This role will be based in either our San Francisco office or Silicon Valley office but will support both offices and require frequent travel between them. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence, with certain times of year requiring primarily in-office presence.









Responsibilities & Qualifications






Other key responsibilities include:

 

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with office leadership and Recruiting Committee members
  • Overseeing the Summer Program, including events, onboarding, orientation, integration, training, staffing, evaluations, and budgets
  • Maintaining positive relationships with regional law schools and maintaining a strong focus on the firm brand at all law schools
  • Managing and coordinating office outreach efforts
  • Providing research, analyzing data, and generating reports as requested
  • Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains

  • Demonstrate excellent leadership skills (e.g., organizing, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making) necessary for effective management
  • Display well-developed, professional interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm
  • Possess the ability to work in a team environment with a customer-service focus

 

And have:

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in legal recruitment or professional services
  • A minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience in a related field, preferably

Pay Range






USD $185,000.00 - USD $200,000.00 /Yr.
