Business - Employment Law Litigation Associate

Sul Lee Law Firm is seeking an attorney with expertise in commercial litigation and employment law to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience handling contract disputes, employment disputes, and shareholder/derivative actions. This is a hybrid position based in Dallas, Texas, and candidates must be licensed to practice law in the state of Texas. Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary starting at $150,000+, commensurate with experience.
• Billable hour requirement of approximately 1,600 hours annually.

• Leading and supporting state/federal cases as well as arbitrations

• Attending hearings, depositions, mediations, and other court appearances
• Develop and execute litigation strategies, from pre-trial through trial or settlement
• Executing the solution both by directly working on it or by utilizing and delegating with appropriate junior attorneys and staff
• Managing client communication
• Preparing cases for success in mediation, trial, and arbitration
• Manage cases independently while working collaboratively with the firm's legal team.

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership with the Texas State Bar
• 4+ years of experience in commercial litigation/employment litigation
• Experience in conducting discoveries and developing case strategies
• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Comfortable with legal research tools, case management software (Clio preferred), and e-discovery tools for efficient work processes
