Your Impact
The Business Unit Controller will be a hands-on financial leader for our Pennsylvania semiconductor capital equipment manufacturing plant. This role is responsible for managing financial planning, reporting, and cost management to ensure efficiency and profitability within a growing small business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing finance, cost accounting, and financial controls, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and industry regulations while maintaining a lean operational approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Oversight: Provide financial management and reporting to plant leadership, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and oversee annual budgets, financial forecasts, and performance tracking.
• Cost Management: Maintain cost accounting processes, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation to optimize cost efficiency.
• Operational & Financial Performance: Monitor key financial metrics, identify trends, and support operational improvements.
• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
• Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with operations and supply chain teams to support financial decision-making.
• ERP & Systems Optimization: Utilize ERP and financial software to streamline reporting and financial operations.

 Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in a small to mid-sized manufacturing company.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and financial modeling.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SyteLine, NetSuite, or similar.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication abilities and experience working closely with operational teams.
• Ability to work independently in a lean, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in project manufacturing, construction, or related industries.
• Hands-on experience in a small business environment, managing multiple financial functions.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and financial process improvements.
