Overview: As a Director, Brand & Communication at Litera, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about driving innovation in the legal technology space. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and collaborate with industry experts to deliver solutions that make a real difference in the legal profession.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Marketing & Advocacy:

  • Oversee customer marketing role.
  • Coordinate across the organization how new products and changes are communicated to customers.
  • Work to build a stable of incentivized customer advocates for media opportunities.

Brand and Public Relations (PR):

  • Manage strategy for all aspects of PR activities, including media relations, press releases, thought leadership content, and crisis communications.
  • Oversee brand development and ensure consistency across all communication channels, including print, digital, and multimedia.
  • Script key corporate messages for leadership team for speaking opportunities, internal communication, product launches, and other external comms opportunities.

Content Marketing:

  • Oversee content team on strategy and creation efforts, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, and other marketing collateral. Complete final edits for tone, quality, and brand consistency. Ensure social media strategies increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate leads.

Design:

  • Collaborate with design and video team to create visually compelling assets for marketing campaigns, websites, and presentations. Oversee video content creation, from concept development to production and distribution, to support marketing and communication objectives.

Web Development:

  • Work closely with Web Optimization team and web developer to optimize website content, functionality, and user experience to support marketing and branding goals while growing site traffic, SEO, and conversions.
  • Connect the dots across the organization between content and SEO, customer feedback and web performance, and UX and customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in communications, marketing, or related roles, preferably in the legal industry.
  • 8+ years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Proven record of developing and executing successful communication and brand strategies with the metrics to back it up.
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with digital marketing and analytics tools.
  • Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for innovation.
  • An experienced leader who can also tackle individual products and jump in to assist CMO and CEO in communicating metrics, strategies, team needs, and wins.

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, or Washington residents is $135,000 to $155,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Litera offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
