The Opportunity:
We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Litigation Assistant to join our team. Our ideal candidate is well-versed in employment law and/or litigation in the state of California.
You will be joining a growing, fast-paced law firm that sets you up for success. You’ll have a voice at the table and a support system to help you reach your goals. We celebrate achievement and reward our team members for their great ideas, attitude, and teamwork.
Schedule:
Monday- Friday, typical work day is 7.5 – 8 hours
Start/end times are flexible within the standard work day
Remote work one day per week is ideal. We may be open to increasing remote days for the right candidate.

Skills and Experience Requirements:
4 + years litigation assistance experience (must-have)
Legal calendaring (including motions, discovery, and trial limitations, etc.)
Preparing court filings for state and federal courts
Motion practice
Drafting & formatting correspondence
New client intake
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Knowledge of court rules and procedures
Demonstrated ability to escalate identified issues
Strong sense of urgency and getting things done
Strong sense of ownership of your role
Excellent communication skills
Internet & tech savvy
High energy, enjoy being busy, coordinating multiple tasks
Experience with Clio a plus but not required
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation & auto insurance (although driving is rarely required, and mileage is always reimbursed)
