Requirements
- At least 3 years of full-time experience as a paralegal (4-5 preferred)
- Less than 30 minutes driving distance from the Twin Cities
- Commitment to our law firm Vivid Vision
- Statute based legal research experience
- Legal writing experience
- Contract review experience
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- Comfortable with remote work
- Computer Skills, tech-savvy or quick learner
- Professional customer service skills
- Strong grammar, punctuation, proofreading and overall written communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience in healthcare compliance
In this position, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to)
- Under an attorney’s supervision, drafting and reviewing: policies and procedures, employment contracts, independent contractor agreements, corporate resolutions, etc.
- Corrective action plans 245D/ARMHS
- 245G policy review
- Legal Research
Compensation
- $62,000 - $75,000 (depending on experience) + bonuses
Benefits
- 24 Days PTO accrued the first year. PTO is frontloaded and increased by 3 days each year you are with the firm.
- 48 hours for paid sick leave carry over to the next year with a maximum of 80 hours accrued each year
- Remaining 18 days of paid leave are available to be cashed out if unused at the end of the year (rate determined by the company)
- 50% of premiums of the employer-sponsored health insurance plan is covered by the firm
- Rates are by age. Example: for a 35 year old employee, this is equal to approximately $3,500 additional compensation per year.
- 3% IRA company matching contribution.
- $1,800 annual gym membership reimbursement.
- One paid “workout hour” per week to support well-being.
- Quarterly bonuses for meeting key performance indicators (2.5% base salary each quarter)
- Primarily Remote Work - with remote office supplies included
