The Solutions Sales Executive (SSE) is pivotal in our sales and account management team, calling for an entrepreneurial spirit, innovative mindset, and a passion for sales. As an SSE, you'll be tasked with identifying and building solid, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within each client. Collaborating closely with Account Executives, Solutions Consultants, and other Litera counterparts, your role will require a team-oriented approach to identify and execute sales strategies for our Transactional Lawyer products, which includes BigSquare, Dragon, Kira, Office & Dragons, and Transact.
A Day in the Life
Achieving monthly and quarterly sales goals
Actively engage in prospecting to discover new sales opportunities
Ensure data accuracy related to pipelines and sales opportunities within Salesforce
Building trust and rapport with key decision-makers and influencers in your accounts
Listening to customer needs, presenting relevant solutions, and highlighting the value and benefits of our technology and business offerings
Collaborating with other team members to plan and execute effective strategies for your territory and accounts
Growing and deepening customer relationships and expanding our partnership opportunities
Identifying and pursuing cross-selling possibilities within existing accounts
Promoting Litera at events and generating sales leads
Role Progression
In Your First Month, You Will:
Complete New Hire Onboarding
Participate in instructor-led Sales Bootcamp
Learn best practices, processes, and business tools, including Salesforce and Microsoft Office
Be prepared to effectively manage all steps in the sales process
Within 3 Months, You Will:
Prepare, present, and begin executing on a strategic territory growth plan
Create and deliver presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations with support from Pre-Sales and other team members
Prospect and close deals
Within 6 Months, You Will:
Manage full sales cycle for product(s)
Consistently generate new pipeline to drive growth
Be a key contributor to Sales QBR presentations for your product(s)
About You
You have managed large, complex accounts, with global experience being a plus.
You have a demonstrated history of consistently meeting metric-based sales quotas and demonstrate proficiency in using Salesforce, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint. This is vital in showcasing your ability to attain set goals, propel business expansion, and contribute significantly to the company's overall success.
Your sales skills are strategic and consultative, and you excel at strategic partnering and network building.
You're resourceful and highly organized, able to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, complex, and continuously changing environment that requires collaboration.
You can translate vision into strategy, operations, and detailed execution.
You deeply understand legal workflows, can identify critical issues, and provide insightful, actionable solutions.

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, or Washington residents is $95,000 to $130,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Litera offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
